MADY CAMARA OFF TO ENGLAND?
Mady Camara might be on his way to England this summer as Watford has been knocking on the door and the 22-year old is believed to have taken a fair bit of interest in the offer. However sources close to him say that he is yet to take the final call and will take it once he completes his national duty at the upcoming AFCON.
It’s been only a season that Camara has been at Olympiakos and he has done enough to draw attention from different clubs across the globe. Watford is not the only club chasing him, but there are a couple others as well which are desirable to have the services of the young playmaker.
Olympiakos, on the other hand, will definitely leave no stone turned to make sure Camara goes nowhere because he did such a great job for them in the recently finished season where they ended at no. 2 in the Greek top tier.
Camara represents Guinea at the international level and he is going to be a key member for his national side as well in AFCON ’19 even though he is pretty new in international Football and has the experience of only 4 games so far.
Camara began his youth career in his native country itself where he had stints at a couple of clubs before he made his first overseas move to AC Ajaccio. Although he was pretty decent at Ajaccio, it’s his current stint at Olympiakos which has actually brought him into the limelight.
Camara plays at the centre of the pitch in a holding role and because of his physical presence and agility; he is an absolute asset for any side. It can’t be said just yet that he is at the peak of his prowess. He is a work in progress, but he is already good enough to add value to the top sides in the world.
