PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS OLYMPIAKOS’ MILIVOJEVIC

English Premier League sides Hull City, Sunderland, Southampton and Watford are believed to be interested in signing Olympiakos playmaker Luka Milivojevic, according to reports.

The top Greek football club say that the Premier League sides want the defensive midfield player to move to England after seeing the player impress after his move from Anderlecht.

Milivojevic joined the Greek giant in the summer of 2015 but he has quickly established himself as one of best players. He has also broken into the Serbia squad with his sterling form.

Milivojevic has been decent so far this term. He helped Olympiakos to the apex of the standings in the Greek Super League games. His form has seen scouts buzzing as they want his signatures for the various club they represent.

Premier League heavyweights West Ham United and defending champions Leicester City are also rumoured to be keen on acquiring the player.

Greek players would be wary of a move to England early in their career and the clubs would want to retain local talents as loss of such top players could see them lose their competitive edge. Many Greeks sides like Paniliakos have gone under in the past with poor talent management.

After Hull City lost Jake Livermore to West Bromich Albion they want a replacement and they want Milivojevic to be the one. Manager Marco Silva, who is under a lot of pressure to perform, knows about the Greek club player since he signed him for Olympiakos. He hopes to use that relationship to lure the 25-year old to the Premier League. Hull are battling relegation and are looking around desperately for the best talents that can help them.
