The pre-season journey of Ac.Milan has seen them claiming triumphs over Reggiana, Alcione, Legnano and Inter Milan but also sustained a few loses after facing off with Real Madrid and Olympiaque Lyon.

It’s been a fairly positive pre-season for the Italian side even with their defeats as SinisaMihajlovic took charge of Ac.Milan less than 2 months ago and it already seems like the Serbian manager has a plan on how to turn Ac.Milan into the powerhouses they used to be some time ago.

SinisaMihajlovic is targeting a top 3 finish in the Serie A which is a difficult thing to do for any manager especially for one who is going through his first season in charge of the club but the Serbian coach is positive that he can accomplish this.

The recently appointed manager of Ac.Milan said: "We are putting the pieces in the right places both in terms of the concepts of the game and with the players' behavior. We have taken the perfect road perfect and we will be ready when we start playing the games that count.Getting into the top three is the target. With the team we have, if we can get one or two players in then we can make that leap."

Ac.Milan isn’t the same dominating team that they used to be back in the late 80’s and the early 90’s but the Serbian manager is hoping that he can roll back the years and turn them into a genuine contender not only for the Serie A title but also for the Champions League, this is easier said than done.
The 2015-16 Serie A season kicks on August 22 and Ac.Milan’s opening match of the season is scheduled to take place on August 23 as they face off with Fiorentina.
